Christmas 2023

Musical Concert With Wondering Awe

 December 9 & 10 at 7 p.m.

The  Christmas concert, "With Wondering Awe," presented by The Sugar Hill Choir, showcased the talents of 70 performers, all dedicated to capturing the divine joy surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ, as recounted in the biblical book of Luke.

Inspired by the humble shepherds' awe-inspiring encounter with Christ's glory, the choir masterfully recreated that sacred night, enveloping the audience in a musical atmosphere of contemplative adoration.

Guests were invited to immerse themselves in the serene beauty of that holy night, drawing closer to the Savior amidst the enchanting melodies and heartfelt performances. If you missed it last year, make sure not to miss out on the magical experiences awaiting you at our upcoming events.

Sugar Hill Choir at the Giving Machine in Atlanta!

On Dec. 3, 2023, choir members performed at the Giving Machine where you can experience the joy that comes from helping local and national charities during the holiday season.

Returning once again to the Interlock in Atlanta from Nov. 24 through Dec. 12, the bright red vending machine provides a unique way to donate essential items or services with 100% of contributions reaching the intended cause. With prices ranging from $5 to $240, some of the items you can select include MARTA passes, hygiene supplies and various children’s toys to benefit Atlanta’s Children’s Shelter, City of Refuge, and The Drake House.

The Giving Machine, an initiative by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is part of the "Light the World" campaign, aiming to spread hope and love during the holidays. Since being launched in 2017, 1.5 million people have donated more than $22 million to local and national charities.

Festival of the Nativity in Gainesville, GA

The choir participated in an exhibition featuring over 800 Nativities from across the world at last year's Festival of Nativity, hosted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Gainsville, GA. This captivating event was free and open to the public. A special performance by the Sugar Hill Choir on December 3rd at 7 PM added a melodious touch to the evening.
